Ready for Friday’s review
What should we fix before Friday’s launch review?

Focus on two moments: creating the first note and finding it again.

  1. Make Recent easy to find.

People lost track of saved notes. Add a visible Recent entry to the sidebar.

  2. Give new users a starting point.

Add a first-note template to the empty workspace. Keep team sharing out of this review.

  3. Test Thursday. Decide Friday.

Run five quick tryouts. Check whether people can create a note and reopen it without help.

Bring the two flows and the test notes to Friday’s review.

What the interviews tell us
What are the biggest issues in these interviews?

Two moments are getting in the way: starting a note and finding it again.

  1. Saved work is hard to find.

Three people couldn’t find yesterday’s notes. They expected a visible Recent section.

  2. The empty screen needs a starting point.

Two people paused at a blank workspace. A starter template helped them get going.

  3. Focus on the first few minutes.

Make creating a note and returning to it feel obvious before adding more features.
